My PhD research examines the use of an ecosystems services framework to integrate climate mitigation and adaption into the governance of peri-urban land in Tanzania. It is part of a large research and capacity building programme funded by the Swedish International Development Agency.

My research interests include climate change, natural resources management, ecosystem governance, and policy analysis. I trained as a statistician, but hold a Master of Science in Natural Resources Assessment and Management from the University of Dar es Salaam.

I spend part of my time in Sweden and part in Tanzania.
