Petra Thorpert
Petra Thorpert är doktor i landskapsarkitektur och undervisar i landskapsdesign på kandidat, master- och doktorandnivå vid Institutionen för landskapsarkitektur, planering och förvaltning, SLU, Sverige. Både undervisnings- och forskningsprojekt fokuserar på perception av landskap och dess relation till landskapsestetik och människors hälsa. Projekten är ofta multidisciplinära och involverar ekologer, miljöpsykologer och konstnärer som täcker både stads- och naturmiljöer. Hennes doktorsavhandling bygger på studier utförda i urbana gröna sammanhang och utforskar färginfluenser på mänsklig perception och relaterade upplevelser. Utnämnd 2021 till Excellent lärare vid Sveriges Lantbruksuniversitet.

Undervisning

För närvarande, vid SLU driver jag doktorandkursen: Introductory course for PhD-students samt den internationella kandidatkursen: Urban landskapsdesign 15hp. Jag har tidigare drivit och utvecklat kurser som på olika sätt berör samspelet mellan analys, metod-och konceptutveckling genom studier av designteori, via skissarbete och slutligt förslag till utformning.
