My research focused on investigating biogas production performance regarding with the microbial community composition, especially when operating with lignocellulose-rich materials. The study includes explicitly monitoring and control of anaerobic reactors (batch and lab-scale semi-continuous stirring reactor), evaluating substrate degradation efficiency, illumina sequencing for the overall microbial community analysis and T-RFLP profile constructing for the potential lignocellulose degraders. My current research attempted to establish the correlation between the Metaproteomics and the Metagenomics profile of the overall microbial communities in an anaerobic reactor.
