My PhD project is linked to the Formas-funded research project TRANSECO:Transforming the food value chain based on ecologically and economically sustainable crop production. I will work in parallel with a PhD student in Economics, focusing on building ecological knowledge to support a transformation of agriculture into more resource use efficient, resilient and sustainable. We will assess how ecological functions are dynamically linked and how farm management affects resource capture, stocks and flow in the ecosystems. We wilol scale up this information to examine how ecological-economic functionality and efficiency perform in changing climate.
I have a MSc in Environmental Biology with a focus on Biodiversity Conservation. My Master's thesis was an analysis of traits and distribution of Carabid beetles along elevational gradients.
