Network Symposium 2 at SLU

Senast ändrad: 31 augusti 2023

Following up on the first Symposium ‘ACROSS – pluriversal urban futures’ at FADU-UBA in Buenos Aires in April 2023, the members of the Linnaeus Palme Partnership ‘Critical Urbanities’ are arranging a second Symposium in collaboration with the Walter Gropius Chair of the University of Buenos Aires (FADU-UBA, supported by the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD).

They invite the European partners of the newly created ACROSS network to share their knowledge and present current projects focusing on the design of sustainable urban futures across hemispheres, across disciplines, and across the academy and civil society (see Network Symposium 1 FADU-UBA, the Symposium Report, and ‘scape the international magazine of landscape architecture and urbanism #19/2023).

The first day, 4 September 2023, is dedicated to site visits and a research workshop for invited participants with the intent to scope out common research interests and funding options. On the second day, 5 September 2023, the Linnaeus Palme Partnership initiators invite to a public conference on selected urban design and landscape architectural topics:
