Innovations in the broiler industry

This project is using interviews as a method to investigate broiler farmers’ views on sustainability in their production form. Farmers using different production systems are interviewed to find out what they need for invention and implementation of innovations and development of their production and what challenges and opportunities they see for the future. The interviews will be analysed using qualitative methodology. The farmers in focus can be in the student’s home country, and if possible compared to Swedish farmers. The student needs to be interested in the situation of farmers and their abilities to develop their production systems towards increased sustainability
